Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground beef Lean ground beef works best
  • 8 strips Bacon Cooked and chopped
  • 2 cans (15 oz) Pinto beans Drained
  • 1 can (28 oz) Baked beans Do not drain
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce Use your favorite brand
  • ¼ cup Brown sugar Light or dark
  • 1 small Onion Diced
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Cook the bacon until crispy, then chop into small pieces.
  • Add the cooked beef and bacon to the crockpot.
  • Stir in the pinto beans, baked beans, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, diced onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix everything together until fully combined.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until hot, thick, and flavorful.
  • Serve warm with cornbread or enjoy straight from the bowl.

Notes

  • Leftovers taste even better the next day.
  • Add jalapeños for extra heat.
  • Great for potlucks, cookouts, and busy weeknights.
